About
Alejandra

I'm a Design Manager at Flock Safety, where I lead product designers building investigation tools for law enforcement. My work there has included leading design for a multi-source investigation platform, rearchitecting a map-first investigation experience, and designing the product's first mobile app.
I've also helped define newer product directions at Flock, including a natural language investigative search interface and UX patterns for AI-assisted investigations such as conversational agents, evidence summarization, and report generation. As my scope has grown from Senior Product Designer to Lead and now Design Manager, I've taken on product strategy, hiring, team guidelines, and close design-engineering collaboration.
Before Flock, I spent two years at Google, where I led the customer experience side of the Hardware organization — facilitating 30+ design thinking workshops, championing user-centric methods across cross-functional teams, designing the Popup Store experience, and launching the Google x Enjoy partnership.
I'm happiest when I get to work on products throughout the entire design process, from problem definition to product delivery. I bring a Psychology background, a Service Design lens, and a relentless focus on the end-to-end customer journey to everything I do.
